A mini-lecture submitted to History Matters: Celebrating Women’s Plays of the Past as part of their “Teacher Tuesdays” initiative in 2020. Here I discuss Joanna Bailie’s 1836 play Witchcraft!

This video features clips from a Webinar I did with Kritik in 2022. I talk about peer learning and Ungrading, among other topics.

Not only are podcasts essential parts of Barnette’s teaching (since 2019), but recently she launched a project in collaboration with History Matters: Celebrating Women’s Plays of the Past, called Women’s Plays on the Air (WPA). You can listen to the pilot episodes (created by the awesome students enrolled in Barnette’s History of US Theatre class at KU in Spring 2023) here! If you’d like to hear an example of her teaching podcast episodes, please contact Jane, as she keeps those episodes private for students unless other arrangements are made.
